Canadian Call to Activism
Within My 365 Goal Challenge that I accepted, I
mentioned advocating and standing up for others. I am asking...PLEADING...with
other bloggers to join in and spread the word. To write letters to ministers
within our government. To stand beside these causes. Ask your followers to
stand up with you. Make a page specifically about Activism and standing up for
others.
First entry:
There is a woman here in Canada under threat of
deportation just because she is not blood to her family. The minister has
denied this lady immigrant status under humanitarian need. She is 83 years
old. Squatters took over her home in her place of origin. Her only family is
here, her relatives here pay for everything for her and the government wants to
send her home. No valid reason. No reason at all! This behavior is not the
home I love. It is not what I was raised that our home is about either.
